Soliant Education is currently seeking a Certified School Nurse (CSN) to join our team in the Elmhurst, Illinois area. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support the health and well-being of students in a dynamic educational environment.

Job Details:

  • Caseload: K-12
  • Position: Staff nurse to work Monday through Friday at the High School
  • Hours: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm
  • Responsibilities: Service the entire student body, including general and special needs students. Duties will include secretarial duties rather than patient care.

Requirements:

  • Must have PEL (Professional Educator License)
  • Must have CSN (Certified School Nurse) certification

Primary Duties:

  • Manage student health records and documentation
  • Coordinate health screenings and assessments
  • Administer medications and treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to address health concerns and develop individualized health plans
  • Provide health education and counseling to students and families

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois PEL and CSN certification
  • Experience working as a school nurse preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
