  • Responsibilities: Tracking cases for 9th-grade students, with occasional support in other similar age classes

  • Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking passionate and experienced Special Education Teachers to join our team in Georgetown, TX. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality education and support to 9th-grade students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead classroom instruction and facilitate learning experiences for students with special needs in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Provide targeted intervention and support to students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Autism.
  • Track and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction and intervention strategies as needed to ensure academic success.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities to support continuous improvement and student success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Texas teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification).
  • Classroom special education lead teaching experience required.
  • Experience working with students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Autism.
  • Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and evidence-based instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
