Vaco Richmond Recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist who will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support for various HR-related matters such as coordination, recruitment, payroll, and benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle administrative tasks such as onboarding, new-hire orientation, and data entry into HRIS systems.
  • Assist in communication, and interpretation of employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding employment laws and policies.
  • Assist with employee benefit programs, answer inquiries, and ensure compliance.
  • Payroll processing including updating employee files, bonus/incentive pay, benefit charges, hourly-employee validations, entering/editing hours, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience using HRIS related systems.
  • 4 + years of generalist experience in a professional corporate setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
