Position: Virtual Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Louisiana, USA (Remote)
Type: Full-time/Part-time
Responsibilities: As a Virtual Occupational Therapist serving clients in Louisiana, you will:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' sensory, motor, and cognitive skills.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
- Deliver virtual therapy sessions using telehealth technology, ensuring effective engagement and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with clients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and communication with clients and team members.
- Stay informed about best practices and innovations in virtual therapy delivery and occupational therapy.
Requirements: To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Louisiana.
- Prior experience in occupational therapy, with exposure to virtual or telehealth settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients remotely.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and technology for virtual therapy sessions.
- Dedication to providing compassionate care and making a positive impact in clients' lives.
