Plumbing Teacher

About the Role:
Soliant Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Plumbing Teacher to join our team in Newark, NJ for the upcoming school year. This full-time position will involve teaching plumbing skills and concepts to high school students, preparing them for successful careers in the trades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive plumbing curriculum in alignment with state standards.
• Teach students fundamental and advanced plumbing techniques, including safety protocols, installation practices, and troubleshooting.
• Create engaging lesson plans and hands-on learning opportunities.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and exams.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student success and career readiness.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Plumbing or related field, or willingness to obtain.
• Proven experience in plumbing, including hands-on expertise and a solid understanding of industry standards.
• Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
