Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Troy, Michigan. As a School Psychologist, you will work with students, teachers, and families to support students' academic, emotional, and social development. This role is ideal for an experienced professional committed to making a positive impact on student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies tailored to students needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of personalized education plans.
  • Provide counseling services to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to implement strategies that promote academic and social success.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure effectiveness.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school environment to support student well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid School Psychologist certification in the state of Michigan.
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist is preferred.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and effective intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for helping students succeed academically and emotionally.
