Visiting Assistant Professor, Theatre and Dance Position Summary: The Rollins College Department of Theatre & Dance is seeking a candidate for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor for a 2 year appointment beginning in August of 2026. The primary responsibility will be teaching courses in performance, including Acting II, Voice and Movement, Beginning Acting for majors and non-majors, Shakespeare or Period Styles, and Acting for the Camera. The successful candidate may also be asked to teach Directing as well as courses in their area of specialty. In addition to teaching the above subjects to theatre majors, the candidate will be expected to teach non-majors in our General Education program; and will be expected to direct in our season and should have experience directing undergraduates in various theatrical styles.Rollins College is a comprehensive liberal arts college located just north of Orlando, FL, a diverse metropolitan community with a thriving economic and cultural scene.
