Soliant has partnered with a retail pharmacy in Southborough, Massachusetts, to find skilled PV1 Pharmacists. This is an opportunity for CONTRACT TO HIRE / DIRECT HIRE for the right candidate. If you're a dedicated pharmacist ready to make a difference in patient care, this role is for you

Position: PV1 Pharmacist
Location: Southborough, Massachusetts
Start: ASAP
End: 13-weeks, contract to hire
Shift: Mix of days/evenings, rotating weekends

About the Role:
As a PV1 Pharmacist, you will be the pharmacist of record for the integrity of the clinical prescription review process. You'll communicate directly with providers (doctors/nurses) and resolve any problems or issues with medication orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, entering, and clarifying prescriptions from nurses and physicians (PV1)
  • Preparing medications with precision and care, detecting any therapeutic incompatibilities (PV1)
  • Dispensing medications through compounding, packaging, and labeling
  • Monitoring drug therapies and providing interventions as needed

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of medications, interactions, and dosage
  • Experience in long-term care preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with Frameworks and Docutrack information systems beneficial
  • Current pharmacist licensure in MA
