RESPONSIBLEFOR:
The staff nurse provides nursing careto patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursingprocesses to
assess, plan, implement, and evaluate thecare for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the
policies and procedures of the organization anddemonstrates professional growth and accountability. The
staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards ofpractice, coordinating patient care activities of all
assigned staff in the provision of quality nursingcare.

Qualifications:
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursingprogram

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing programeligible

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLCMultistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced certification in fieldof specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. NursingExperience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
