Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and certified School Nurse (CSN) to join our team in the Palatine, IL area. This full-time, on-site position is for the 2024-2025 school year, serving both elementary and middle school students. We are looking for a professional who is committed to promoting the health and well-being of students in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with specific health needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and learning.
  • Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
  • Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
  • Certification as a School Nurse (CSN).
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
