Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in providing exceptional therapeutic services within a reputable school district in Jonesboro, GA. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year, offering 40 hours per week of meaningful work with students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to improve their motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the school team to ensure effective integration of therapy into the students' educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and related paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program.
  • Active OT license in the state of Georgia (or eligible for licensure).
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as current research and trends in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and the school team.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school district.
