Employer: Soliant Education
Soliant Education is seeking a licensed and dedicated School Psychologist to join a school district in the Huntley, IL area. This is a full-time, on-site position for the 2024-2025 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Interpret assessment results and collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies.
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to students, families, and staff members.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and community resources to support students' academic and emotional well-being.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
- Illinois state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12th grade students preferred.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
