Commis Chef - Relocation Opportunity - Braemar, Scotland

We have a great opportunity to join our kitchen team at The Fife Arms Hotel, Braemar, as a Commis Chef.

 

 

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for excellent food and a desire to develop your cooking skills whilst under the mentorship of our Executive Chef and the team. You will learn and gain experience on each of the sections of our kitchen.

As Commis Chef you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing the mis-en-place for the section assigned to you accordingly to a list given to you by the Sous Chef.
  • Ensuring the quality of food preparation is of the exceptional standard.
  • Ensuring effective communication within the team.
  • Assisting on other sections or help with other duties when required.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and standards of the section.

You'll be surrounded by a team with a creative flair and a passion for fresh food and brilliant service with a desire to learn and grow. All striving to go beyond for guests, our team, and the community.

Our successful Commis Chef will have:
