We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to join our dynamic Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on those recovering from serious medical conditions and complex procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Position : PICU

Location : Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital , Tennessee

Schedule : Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:00

Unit : ER

What You'll Do :

As a member of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. In this position, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, continuously monitor vital signs, and ensure patient comfort while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate effective treatment plans. You will be responsible for administering medications, maintaining accurate documentation, and educating patients and families about their care.

Resp onsibilities :
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously.
  • Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Offer emotional support and education to families regarding their child's care and treatment.

Requirements:
  • RN license in State of Assignment or compact license
  • 2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel
  • Must live 100 miles from Facility
  • Covid Vaccine
  • Flu Vaccine
