With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence professional to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our dynamic business every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. As a Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Subject Matter Expert, you’ll use your specialized technical, regional, functional, or military experience and your attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence, products, and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation’s leaders.

As an intelligence analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, develop effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources including SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, MASINT, and open-source. You’ll validate information and develop tradecraft as you build assessments for warfighters, senior policymakers, internal client publications, and U.S. IC-wide products. As the authority on your area of expertise, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.

This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like acquisitions and space control and support to mission partners. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis, with an emphasis in SIGINT analysis
  • Experience with unit-level intelligence support
  • Experience with acquisitions or software engineering development
  • Experience with tactical and operational planning and conducting military intelligence activities
  • Experience providing intelligence support to space operations or planning at a Space Wing or Space Operations Center
  • Experience in EW planning and operations
  • Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) principles, AFIs or SPFIs, and AFTTP 3-1s
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret complex documents, and communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams, including team interaction and presentations
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with various SATCOM systems and RF signals
  • Experience with the USAF or USSF major command (MAJCOM), HQ Air Force, combatant command (COCOM), or Joint Staff

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
