Job Description:
As a CT Technologist, you will be a vital member of our imaging department, responsible for performing CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography (CT) examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during CT procedures.
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment.
- Adhere to protocols for image quality and radiation safety.
- Assist in patient positioning and explain procedures to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in CT technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CT equipment and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to patient care and safety.
