Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Role:

Designs, implements, and manages procedures to ensure database and software security. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity field, including supporting information assurance, networking, or systems administration

  • 2+ years of experience with RMF A&A processes and Cybersecurity engineering

  • Experience with applying system security configurations to meet compliance standards

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practices

  • Ability to write final-version deliverable technical documents and reports

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • DoD 8140 Certification, including Security+, CYSA+, or CISSP Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud and DevSecOps

  • Experience working with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)

  • Experience with security tools and devices, including network firewalls, web proxy, intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability scanner, or penetration tools

  • Bachelor’s degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
