Your Impact:

We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Data Scientist (Senior) to join our team in the NCR or Huntsville, AL.
You will be working in an organization that’s mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages SAFe agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.

  • The Data Scientist (Senior) is a part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to designs and delivers on premises and cloud-based applications.
  • The Data Scientist (Senior) is responsible for planning and leading major technology assignments utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large amounts of data and create valuable insights.
  • Designs approaches to handling, analyzing, and using large volumes of data sets.
  • The Data Scientist (Senior) is also functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and resolves technical issues involving data handling, search, and retention.
  • Responsible for utilizing big data technologies and knowledge of data science models to analyze large amounts of data and create valuable insights.
  • Duties include finding and designing new approaches to handling, analyzing, and using large volumes of data sets; exploring fundamental issues with data handling, search, and retention; solving complex data and storage issues; designing new software coding to improve data search processes; designing, testing and validating the quality of the data and data processes; and analyzing and reporting results with actionable recommendations.
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.
  • Responsible for analyzing production data which will lead to the program choosing right-fit technology solutions
  • This position can be located in the NCR or Huntsville, AL and is an exciting opportunity for cleared talent with a Top Secret clearance to work the program.

  • Active Top-Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field.
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience with 6 years of related technical specialized experience.
