Valiant is hiring E-3G Mission Training Instructors for the PACAF Simulator Instructor contract at JB Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Instruct simulator RAP, DMO, and Distributed Live Control tactical and basic mission events. Instruct mission crew upgrade training and academic support simulator training.
  • Develop and manage realistic scenarios in support of RAP/DMO tactical mission events training, Distributed Live Control events and aircrew basic skills mission training.
  • Maintain daily utilization logs and provide status on each aircrew member's simulator training completion to the local training unit representatives.
  • Operate the Mission Training Center (MTC)/instructor stations and crew consoles in support of Air Force and Joint RAP/DMO battlefield tactical event exercises, Distributed Live Control events and basic mission skills training. Perform as event manager in support of Air Force and Joint RAP/DMO battlefield tactical exercise and Distributed Live Control events.
  • Performs administrative duties such as scheduling, record keeping, monitoring student progress, quality assurance, safety, security, and maintenance of training programs and equipment.
  • Must maintain proficiency in operation of essential E-3G series Aircrew Training Devices.
  • Must have prior aircraft operating experience and the ability to establish and maintain creditability and the attention of the customer trainees.
  • Must meet minimum AFMAN 11-2E-3G specific requirements, be able to use current tactics and employment standards, and be physically qualified to operate the simulator as a Mission Crew Member.
  • Prepares reports as required by management.
  • Physical Demands: Normal office environment physical requirements. Must be able to stand up and conduct academic instruction in classrooms for up to six hours each day.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: The rate for this position is IAW the CBA.

  • US citizens only; able to read, write, speak, and understand English; have basic Microsoft Office skills; and meets Personnel Security Requirements
  • Current (i.e. operational flight experience) within 8 years, unless currently performing similar aircrew instruction duties.
  • Must be able to perform AF Form 8 Certified Instructor duties in MTC weapon system using current tactics and employment standards.
  • Must be able to operate the simulator in the capacity of a E-3G crew position using current tactics and employment standards.
  • Must maintain ground training currency and be physically qualified to perform these duties.
  • 1000 hours of E-3 experience as an Air Battle Manager (career field 13N/Airborne Battle Management (career field 1A4/D)/200 hours as an instructor and previously qualified in the position hired to instruct.
  • Must have a minimum Secret/SAP Clearance, Top Secret/SAP is highly desired.
  • Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Training Experience is desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
