We are looking for you to join our team as an Industrial Engineer based out of Apopka, FL.
As an Industrial Engineer at Northrop Grumman, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. Using Model-based Engineering and Agile practices we continue to evolve how we deliver critical national defense products and capabilities for the warfighter. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes Data Analytics to analyze existing operational processes and develops metrics and reporting to optimize and improve program & operational performance.
- Lead efforts as Digital Transformation Champion to align Apopka's goals with sector and enterprise strategies.
- Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance.
- Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently.
- Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints.
- Develop optimized scheduling tools and align SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints.
- Communicates requirements planning and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams.
- Must be available onsite to support manufacturing and its schedule of operations.
