About The Position
- Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
- Quickly assessing patient needs.
- Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
- Performing minor medical operations.
- Cleaning wounds.
- Drawing blood.
- Maintaining emergency room care standards.
- Assisting with insurance paperwork.
- Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
- Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
Skills Required: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Central line care/management, Starting IVs, Emergency Medications
Preceptor Experience Required
Skills Preferred: Triage, Continuous IV sedation, Cerner

Ratio: 1:4 or 5
2 Years Minimum Experience Required
First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
Within past 8 mo, candidate must have worked in an ED setting that has at least 125/day
Must have travel experience
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS
Call Required: every other weekend and holiday rotation as necessary
2 years of experience in a like size and volume ED
Skills Required: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Central line care/management, Starting IVs, Emergency Medications
Preceptor Experience Required
