Patients assigned and then triaged based on evaluation status, discharge planning and clinical need. Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : PT/OT/SLP collaboration Type of equipment : Standard ADL equipment, and splinting materials Documentation system: Epic Scheduling requirements: 8 hour day, 40 hours weekly with weekend rotation Floating policy: n/a Patient Experience requirements: Acute therapy supports overall hospital patient experience goal. Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS. Hiring profile Years of Experience Required: 2 years acute care Requested Skill Set: Experience in acute care in a variety of hospital units including, Med-surg, Intermediate care, ICU Trauma, Medical and Cardiac. Splinting experience preferred. Must have: Acute care experience, preferably in a trauma center hospital setting. Advanced skills needed: Splinting experience preferred. Procedures performed on unit: Acute care Occupational Therapy including evaluations, plan of care development, participation in multi-disciplinary rounds, fabrication of splints. (Adults only) Certifications Required: OTL and Licensure in Georgia Dress Code: (Required uniform) Ceil or Cornflower Blue and Black scrubs. Either top, bottom or both must be blue. Weekend rotation is also included with scheduled day off during the week. This will be one weekend day per month.
