Munitions Portfolio Communications Specialist, Senior

As a defense mission professional, you’ll bring your strategic, tactical, and technical munitions background to work on the development of Insensitive Munitions Strategic Plans (IMSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for identified priority munitions for the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force. You’ll analyze, assess, plan, and support the Joint Services Insensitive Munitions Technical Panel (JSIMTP) mission and facilitate Quarterly Meetings. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate processes, and maintain the Department of Defense (DoD) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for IMSP and POA&M improvement. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes related to Insensitive Munitions.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience working for the DoD, Joint Staff, or a Service-level staff office developing executive-level briefings and deliverables

  • Experience conducting strategic communication activities involving Service PEOs, PMs, and industry

  • Experience evaluating and overseeing project execution of near-term, mid-term, and long-term assignments

  • Experience developing written products, information papers, and presentations

  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data for senior-level clients on technical, policy, or functional issues

  • Knowledge of Munitions, Fuzes, and Fuzing Technology

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in working with or supporting the DoD

  • Knowledge of DoD weapon systems

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
