Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Nuevo, California

Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive team in Nuevo, California. This position offers the opportunity to conduct assessments for students in grades Pre-8th using a variety of testing software.

Job Details:

  • Position: School Psychologist
  • Start Time/End Time: Suggested 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
  • Responsibilities: Assessments only
  • Testing Software: Pearson Assessments, WPS, and MHS, including ABAS, ASRS, WISC, KABC, and Conners 4 (preferred)
  • Grade Level: Pre-8th

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Utilize testing software such as Pearson Assessments, WPS, and MHS to administer and score assessments, including ABAS, ASRS, WISC, KABC, and Conners 4 (preferred).
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational interventions and support services.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding students' social-emotional and behavioral needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in a school setting.
  • Proficiency with testing software such as Pearson Assessments, WPS, and MHS.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
