This role requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities of the Personnel Security Assistant:

Ensure the processing of security clearances and background checks for employees and contractors.Provide access to selectees and serviced employees to the e-QIP system and ensure it is completed by the employees/applicants.Quickly and accurately maintain and update personnel security files and databases.Provide personnel security program assistance to Personnel Security Specialists regarding suitability factors, proper completion of investigative forms and criteria for determining position sensitivity designations.

Qualifications of the Personnel Security Assistant:

2+ years of relevant experience.Active DoD Secret Clearance. Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation for the Personnel Security Assistant:

**Salary Range 72-78K** depending on experience.Full Standard Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.
