A Westside CPA firm is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team due to the growth of the company.  In this role, the Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for doing 1120s, 1065s, LLCs, S corps, C corps, and preparing entity returns.  To be successful in this role, the Senior Tax Accountant should be professional, be able to demonstrate confidentiality, and have a desire to learn.  Does this sound like you or someone you know?  If so, please read the full Senior Tax Accountant job description below to see if this could be a good match for your skillset

What do you need for this Senior Tax Accountant role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years of tax accounting experience
  • CPA (active license or getting close)
  • Advanced Excel
What will you do in this Senior Tax Accountant role?
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and re
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, including 1120s, 1065s, S Corps, C Corps, LLCs, and entities
  • Identify tax saving opportunities, deductions, and credits for clients
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding tax-related matters, providing expert advice and guidance on tax implications and strategies
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research on tax issues, and interpret their implications
  • Assist in preparing for and responding to tax audits, representing their interests before tax authorities
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the firm, including other accountant and tax professionals, to provide comprehensive financial services to clients
