Position: Special Education Teacher

Soliant Education is currently seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team for the full school year in the Jenkintown, Pennsylvania area. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment and make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Position Details:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- School Year: Full School Year (New Staff Orientation begins on August 12th)
- Certification: PA SPED certification is required; the school will consider candidates with an emergency certification
Open Positions:
- High School Special Education ELA
- 6th-8th Grade Special Education Math
- 2nd Grade Special Education Co-Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate students' varying abilities, learning styles, and interests
- Utilize evidence-based practices and instructional strategies to promote student engagement and academic success
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction and interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior
Pay: $40-45 per hour
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
- PA SPED certification is required; candidates with emergency certification will be considered
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
