Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - East Rockingham, NC
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in East Rockingham, NC. This is a full-time position where you will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to support the communication and language needs of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
- Provide therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and effective educational environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
