- Six months pharmacy technician experience preferably in ahospital setting
- Possess current pharmacytechnician license in the State of New Mexico
- National Pharmacy Technician certificationpreferred
- Successful completion of a formalPharmacy Technician training course preferred
- Ensures procurement and distribution of drugorders
- Identifies and fills replacementmedications on emergency crash carts, OR carts and floor stockaccurately
- Prepares sterile products(including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition)accurately
- Delivers medications and suppliesto patient care and ancillary areas accurately
- Rotates stock to ensure use before expirationdate
- Picks up orders, requisitions, andmedications for return from patient care areas when on deliveryrounds
- Enters charges and credits for patientmedications accurately
- Identifies and replacesoutdated and unusable drugs
