Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

As a remote SLP, you will provide teletherapy services to clients in New Mexico, delivering speech and language assessments, interventions, and consultations via virtual platforms. You will work closely with individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and communication needs, including children, adolescents, and adults.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments using teletherapy technology.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  3. Provide direct therapy services to clients via teletherapy sessions.
  4. Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals to establish therapy goals and objectives.
  5. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  6. Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  7. Provide guidance and support to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies for enhancing communication and language development.
  8. Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech language pathology.
  9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and relevant state regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  2. Valid New Mexico state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico.
  3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  4. Experience with teletherapy platforms and technology preferred.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
  7. Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based services to clients.
  8. Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for teletherapy sessions.
