Algebra Teacher

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and skilled High School Algebra Teacher for a full-time position in Sussex, VA. This is an exciting opportunity for educators dedicated to helping students master algebraic concepts and develop strong mathematical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.

Work Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Valid Virginia teaching certification.
• Strong understanding of algebra concepts and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student success and a passion for mathematics education.

Compensation:
This is an hourly contract position for the full school year, with competitive pay rates based on experience and qualifications.
