Position Details:
  • Location:Near Newport Beach, CA, and surrounding areas
  • Start Date: January
  • Assignment Period: Full-time for the school year
  • Caseload: K-12 students, varied needs, candidate's preference
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Experience Preferred: School-based therapy experience
  • Licensure: Valid California OT license required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate students motor skills, sensory integration, and functional abilities in an educational setting.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure therapy aligns with academic and developmental objectives.
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to enhance students success in the classroom.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with state and school guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • California Occupational Therapy license
  • Master's in Occupational Therapy or relevant field
  • School-based experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse caseloads
  • Commitment to improving students learning and development
