Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in the greater Cleveland area, and who would like a 15-week contract to finish out this school year. Soliant has partnered with a small school district of about 4700 students and are conducting interviews in the upcoming 1-2 weeks.

The district serves K-12 students.Additional information about the District and the caseload will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Ohio SLP license
  • Background clearance for related services providers with the Ohio Department of Education

Additional information about the team, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

As a education setting SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Determine eligibility for speech services, and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for childrenwith identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans (for childrenwith special education needs)and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all childrenon the caseload.
  • Provide reports of children'sprogress to parents.
  • Organizecaseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
