Description:
Piedmont Atlanta Transplant is seekinga Charge Nurse to join our team and provide excellent care for ourdynamic outpatient clinic. Serving one of the largest transplantprograms in the nation, the Mason Transplant Clinic is the point ofentry for patients seeking liver, kidney and pancreas transplants,for patients with liver disease and liver cancer, and for patientcare following their transplant. The charge nurse will provideguidance and support to our clinical staff and will be an importantleader interfacing with our physicians and providers and thepatients we serve. Responsibilities will also include maintaining aclean and compliant working environment. Ultimately, you will workwith a team to ensure patients receive the care and attention theyneed throughout their transplant journey. The role is full time,Monday-Friday during business hours, with no evenings or weekendsrequired. There is potential for one remote workday weekly aftertraining completion.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Coordinates the delivery of quality nursingcare for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well asoperational issues during his/her shift. Provides clinical care asneeded when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmentalissues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves asresource for guidance and assistance to thestaff.

Qualifications:
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursingprogram.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
One year of nursing experience in ahospital setting required.

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLCMultistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
Two or more years of nursingexperience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor's degreepreferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, ifapplicable. Demonstrated clinical competency.
