Compensation: Starting pay $24 hr. + benefits. *Will be paid even during dead head miles.*

Weekly Schedule:

· Consistent work all year round. 40 hours per week (4 days at 10 hours each).

· Opportunity for additional shifts and overtime based on performance and reliability.

· Start Times will consist of the following (may possibly change in the future):

o 4am – 2pm

o 4pm – 2am

o 6am – 4pm

o 6pm – 4am

About Us

SHARP Fleet LLC is hiring full-time and part-time, motivated Class A CDL drivers with a clean driving record for its Amazon Freight Partner program. Our deliveries are 100% no touch freight (drop and hook only). We currently have 22 tractors within the local area moving freight along the east coast corridor. This will be a shuttle driver position and is open due to company growth. You will transport dry vans back and forth between 2 Amazon facilities 30 miles apart. Having a short distance between the 2 sites and being home daily, this driving position doesn’t get any easier. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Drive local routes that have you home after every shift.

· Haul Amazon loads (primarily no-touch freight). Drop and Hook.

· Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.

· Verifying loads for accuracy

· Performing pre and post-trip vehicle inspection reports

· Be able to use app based technology to pickup, drop off, track, log and maintain loads and hours.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
  • Must successfully pass DOT physical
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
  • No current CDL suspension or revocation
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS
  • Must be flexible
