About The Position
A hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. While locums rarely take call, it is a possibility. The locum physician will not be required to supervise CRNAs, except for one CRNA who is supervised by the physician on first call. The facility uses Cerner. The types of cases include general surgical adult and pediatric cases, excluding neonatal. Procedures involve minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, spinal, epidural, OB, and basic neuro surgeries with 95% focusing on spine cases. Thoracic and vascular cases include some thoracoscopy and possibly AV fistulas, but no aorta surgeries or complex vascular or orthopedic cases.
