This role entails delivering expertise in designing, developing, and supporting our Körber (HighJump) WMS implementations along with other related applications. These related solutions encompass warehouse control systems, voice technologies, slot optimization tools, label printing, and integration development. The position is remote, with a duration of 6+ months, and offers potential for contract or contract-to-hire.
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain HighJump's (Körber) WMS solutions, which includes working with Page Editor, Advantage Architect, and SQL Server stored procedures.
- Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and create comprehensive documentation outlining the project scope.
- Maintain thorough documentation of code modifications in line with company standards and best practices.
- Manage project timelines effectively by juggling various project deliverables, production support needs, and system administration responsibilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as DBAs and Infrastructure to ensure solution development aligns with organizational goals and standards.
- Provide training to business partners when necessary, and occasionally step into an analyst role as needed.
- Develop and execute test cases, and support quality assurance and user acceptance testing alongside business partners.
- Assist with the deployment of solutions, troubleshooting issues during user training and acceptance testing.
- Prioritize tasks based on business impact to ensure attention is focused on critical business needs.
- Perform other tasks, including user and application support, occasionally outside standard working hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM) to accommodate business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Körber (HighJump) software platform development is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working with relational databases like MS SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and operations.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and deliver timely results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Self-motivated with a track record of managing multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with IT and business teams.
- Strong grasp of business processes and a mindset geared toward continuous learning.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as waterfall or agile.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
