Soliant Education is collaborating with a school district near Lowell, MA, to fill the position of a School Psychologist. This is a part-time opportunity, approximately 0.6 FTE (hours are negotiable), with a focus on high school but may involve working with other age groups. The primary responsibilities include evaluations, report writing, and attending IEP team meetings. The school district currently has a team of 5-6 psychologists.

Job Details:

  • Position: School Psychologist (Hybrid, Part-Time)
  • Location: Lowell, MA
  • Type: Part-Time (0.6 FTE, negotiable hours)
  • Responsibilities: Evaluations, report writing, attending IEP team meetings
  • Caseload: Mainly high school, with potential involvement in other age groups
  • Team: Currently 5-6 Psychologists

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for students.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IEP team.
  • Write comprehensive and accurate psychological reports.
  • Attend IEP meetings to discuss assessment results and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and interventions.
  • Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding students' academic and behavioral needs.
  • Support the social-emotional well-being of students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Massachusetts School Psychologist Certification or eligibility.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
