Location: San Bruno, California

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist

Our school district in San Bruno, California, is dedicated to providing exceptional educational services to our diverse student population. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and help our students achieve their communication goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student evaluations, treatment, and progress.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
  • Educate and support school staff and parents on speech and language development and disorders.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid California state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • California Educator Credential with a Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
Required Licensure and Certifications:
  • California state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • California Educator Credential with a Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing.
