Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Shift: Days / 7a-5:30p, 4x10, 40hrs per week, no weekends; no on-call requirements

Length: 12 Weeks

Requirements:

• 1 year experience
  
• Vascular experience
  
• AHA BLS
• Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program
• RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer (client likely means RDCS needed)
• AEC-Adult Echocardiography Certification
  

*Must have vascular experience

Job Description: Performs diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with policies, values and mission of the organization. Responsible for commonly performed echocardiography procedures with consistent proficiency.
Procedures include:
- two dimensional transthoracic echocardiograms
- exercise/dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- agitated saline (bubble) studies
- UEA (ultrasound enhancing agent) echocardiograms
-perform vascular studies which includes venous duplex lower extremities, arterial duplex lower extremities, identification of venous insufficiency and DVT.

Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program
- RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer
- AEC-Adult Echocardiography Certification
- BLS (AHA)
- Current DL with active auto-insurance
- Ability to complete NIVL studies
- Ability to complete DVT studies

Shift: 4 x 10 Days, 0700-1730, no weekends; no on-call requirements
