Physical Therapist (PT) -Gardner, MA

Job Type: Part-time, 4 hours per week

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Duration: July 7th, 2024 to August 15th, 2024

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Gardner, MA. This position offers a part-time opportunity to provide essential therapy services to students during the summer session.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical therapy assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students as per their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational or pediatric setting.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures related to physical therapy services in schools is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
