Electrical Engineer

Key Role:

Researches, designs, develops, tests, or supervises the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Employs knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing complex electrical systems

  • Experience developing 2D wire harness drawings, signal block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and electrical installation drawings

  • Experience performing electrical loads analysis

  • Experience with electrical design software

  • Knowledge of ASME Y14 engineering drawing standards

  • Ability to be a key contributor on an integrated, multidisciplinary team solving complex problems

  • Ability to lead and mentor younger engineers

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience designing electrical systems for us in US Army rotorcraft, missile systems, or ground vehicles

  • Experience of AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of RF signal analysis and antenna cosite analysis

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
