About Us:
Soliant Education is focused on connecting skilled education professionals with schools that require their expertise. We are currently looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Cambridge, MD.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language difficulties. Your contributions will be crucial in implementing therapy strategies and improving communication skills among students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance in delivering speech and language therapy to students.
  • Follow and implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Conduct screenings and aid in the assessment of students.
  • Keep detailed records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to address student needs.
  • Engage in meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • State certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience in a school environment is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
