Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join a vibrant educational team in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. This full-time position is available for the entire school year, providing an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on students physical health and well-being in a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical therapy needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and track progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, school nurses, and counselors, to support students physical and educational goals.
  • Educate and support students and their families about physical therapy techniques and home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy services and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for improving students quality of life and supporting their academic success.
