Speech-Language Pathologist

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility in the charming town of Woodstock, IL. As an SLP, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Job Details:
- Onsite
- 20-25 hours a week
- Caseload: 9th-12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
- Provide therapy services including but not limited to articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing therapy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document all interventions and outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
- Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
