Job Overview:

Soliant Education is excited to announce an opening for a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) in the Greater Boston Area for the first semester of 2024. This flexible position allows for either full-time or part-time hours, perfect for those looking to balance work and personal life. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation:

    • Conduct assessments to determine students' needs for occupational therapy.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.

  • Therapeutic Intervention:

    • Implement therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
    • Adapt activities to integrate into classroom settings.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with teachers, parents, and educational staff.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives.

  • Progress Monitoring:

    • Track and document student progress.
    • Adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Education and Support:

    • Provide training and resources to staff and parents to support students' therapy needs.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current Massachusetts state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment: Dedicated to supporting the success and well-being of all students.
