Description:Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is pleased to invite applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Spanish in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Hofstra University. The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures welcomes applicants who can teach languages courses in Spanish from beginning level to intermediate level in the Fall 2024 semester. Classes will meet face to face either on Mondays and Wednesdays or on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Adjunct Instructor’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the instructor of record on a contingent, adjunct basis in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures courses in Spanish, from Elementary to high Intermediate.
- Teach a range of Spanish-language courses, from Elementary to high Intermediate levels.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Spanish or in a related field.
- University-level teaching experience preferred.
