School-Based Occupational Therapist

Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals of all ages regain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a contract position with a duration of 23-24, providing an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on clients' needs and abilities.
- Implement therapy interventions to enhance clients' functional independence and promote their well-being.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and home modifications.
- Document clients' progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Dedication to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and advancements in the field of occupational therapy.
