Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an Extended School Year (ESY) program in Wilmington, MA. This opportunity involves working with diverse student populations in a supportive and enriching educational setting.

Program Details:

  • ESY Program Dates: July 8, 2024 - August 2, 2024
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Pre-K Program: 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Grade 1-4: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Grade 5-8: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • High School: 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Adie (Autism Program): 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide specialized instruction based on students unique needs
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance and goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field
  • Massachusetts teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including autism spectrum disorders (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
