Soliant Education is excited to partner with a reputable school district in Silverdale, WA, to find a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist for a full-time position for the upcoming school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students lives in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities.
  • Intervention Planning: Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies to support students needs and goals.
  • Therapeutic Services: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective implementation of therapy strategies and to support student progress.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and other relevant documentation.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in occupational therapy and special education.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state license to practice occupational therapy in Washington.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential.
